Rosehip Oil is one of the most versatile and multitasking beauty products around. As it is jam-packed with skin loving ingredients such as Omega 3, 6 and 9, and Vitamins A, C and E – Rosehip Oil can be used to solve a number of different winter woes by keeping your skin and hair hydrated, glowing, and silky smooth all throughout the cooler months ahead. Here are 4 of our favourite Rosehip beauty tips below!

Save Your Dull Complexion

For a flawless base that lasts all-day long, mix 1-2 drops of RosehipPLUS Rosehip Oil into your liquid foundation of choice to create a radiant and natural skin finish. Apply a few more drops of Rosehip Oil with the tips of your fingers to your cheekbones, cupids bow, and brow bone in place of powder or liquid highlighter. Not only does this create a dewy and fresh effect, it keeps the skin hydrated, protected, and prevent flakiness and dry skin patches.

Quench Parched and Thirsty Hair

For a deep conditioning pre-wash hair treatment, massage 3-5 drops of Rosehip Oil onto the mid-lengths to ends of dry hair and allow it to sit for 10 – 15 minutes before washing out. For an extra hydration boost, add Rosehip Oil to the tips of hair and on split ends after drying and heat styling to nourish and protect your strands from the cold winter air before heading out for the day.

Banish Dry Skin Patches

Exfoliate hard working limbs by using a homemade natural body scrub – made with our Rosehip Oil of course! Mix raw sugar, lemon juice, and Rosehip Oil together to make a hydrating exfoliator to refine skin texture and buff away pesky dry skin. Take you hydration game up another notch by adding 2 – 3 drops of  Oil to your favorite body cream. Focus on the drier areas, such as the elbows and knees, for nourished and supple skin all over.

Wave Goodbye to Cracked Cuticles

Regular hand washing and constant exposure to the elements can take a serious toll on our skin, and more often than not will leave your hands looking and feeling tight, cracked, and dehydrated. Keep your hands soft and hydrated, prevent signs of ageing, boost elasticity, soothe cracked cuticles, and mend brittle nail beds by taking 1-3 drops of Rosehip Oil and massage it into your nail beds and palms, and you will have smooth and moisturised hands in no time!

Have you tried any of these tips before? How do you use your Rosehip Oil?
